Spanish Hospitality Equipment Manufacturers Return to Chicago’s NRA Show

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, which forced the cancellation of the event in 2020 and 2021, the NRA Show is back. The National Restaurant Association Show, which specializes in food and catering equipment, will be held on May 21-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago (Illinois).

The Spanish Exporting Manufacturers Association for the Hospitality Industry (AFEHC) will organize the participation of the 22nd group of Spanish companies at the NRA fair.

Under the umbrella brand “Horeca Equipment from Spain,” a group of seven Spanish companies will promote their products in the United States, the main export destination outside Europe of the Spanish horeca equipment industry. The Spanish group will be made up of the following companies:

  • GARCÍA DE POU (single-use items),
  • GESAME (meat processing equipment),
  • INFRICO (commercial refrigeration equipment),
  • ITV ICE MAKERS (ice-making machines),
  • MIBRASA (charcoal ovens),
  • SAMMIC (equipment for food preparation, preservation, and sous vide cooking) and
  • ZUMMO (juicer machines).

To publicize the products of the group of Spanish companies participating in the NRA Show on the North American market, AFEHC has published an information brochure that will be sent to the event’s pre-registered visitors.

The participation of this group of Spanish companies at the NRA Show will be followed by the participation of a group at the EquipHotel Show (Paris, France) on November 6-10, and another group at GulfHost (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) on November 8-10.

These foreign promotion actions form part of the Industry Plan for International Promotion of Equipment for the Restaurant and Catering Industry 2022, designed by AFEHC in collaboration with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
