Infrico was founded on the 24th June 1996 by a team of professionals, specialised in refrigeration, who decided to create a company for the design and production of refrigeration and freezing equipment as well as auxiliary furniture for the hotel, restaurant and patisserie industries. The company was first established on a site covering an area of 400 m² and had 6 workers.
In 1991, Infrico bought its own premises of 6000 m² in the industrial area of Los Santos (Lucena). At that time, it employed 32 people.
In 2001, the company was ISO 9001:2000 certified for all products in its catalogue.
More recently, in 2003, Infrico acquired a plot of 101,000 m² to create Spain’s most modern refrigeration production centre, which occupies 40,000 m² and is based on the latest technology: it is the new Infrico factory, a project included in the company’s strategic plan for 2003-2006. Infrico is currently the number one manufacturer of refrigeration products and has a payroll of 270 people
